Hey guys, I wanted to make a quick post about the fuelx since there wasn’t a whole lot out there when I was deciding on buying it. I installed the fuelx lite. Installation was straight forward, only slight issue is there isn’t a whole lot of space for the unit in the glove box, it fits well enough though. I’ve had my 401 for a few months ... They have actually recalled certain 2018 models over this issue now, as demonstrated by a tool setup on both Husky/KTM's websites to check your VIN and Delivery ID number. They're currently waiting on 1 part and then putting it all back together. Then I flushed the engine with cheap oil about 5 times, replacing filters as I went along. Then put in proper oil and fresh filters and ran the engine for a bit. The only thing I've done to the bike is change the oil + filters at 40 miles (Motorex 10w40 mineral oil). I was aware of the dirt ingestion problems when I purchased my 701 enduro. So I put a Rottweiler intake on to prevent any dirt intake. At 600 miles my bike was burning oil like crazy. I ended up replacing the water pump seal as per the recommendation of Eddy to Race in Cape Town. Then I flushed the engine with cheap oil about 5 times, replacing filters as I went along. The only thing I've done to the bike is change the oil + filters at 40 miles (Motorex 10w40 mineral oil). Condensation/moisture in the dash seems to be a relatively common issue. When I took delivery from the dealer a few weeks ago it already had condensation in the dash (not just a little either); the dealer was very embarrassed and admitted they had had a few dashes replaced under warranty with the same issue.
